My Reflection for Term 1

This week, room 11 did  e-asttle tests on what we’ve been learning  for this term.

My strengths for reading were retrieving information very quickly, and  using previous knowledge. Overall I got an 4P, which is good.My gaps for reading were to read to understand the text, and to skim and scan  faster.  I really want to get  a 4A.I’ll have to learn from my mistakes.

The results for geometry and statistics was 4B which is alright. My strengths  in geometry test was  identifying 2D and 3D objects, and answer questions in statistics. My gaps were to explain reflections, rotations and symmetry. For geometry and statistics I want to get a 4A which will make my mum and myself happy..

My results for number and measurement was another 4b which is ok but I’m wasn’t happy. My strengths was to find perimeters and area of simple shapes, and use a rule to make predictions. My gaps were to solve story problems, and devise a strategy to solve a whole number problem. I want to get a 4A for this test but I’ll have focus on my work properly.

From  all the results from my test I’m at the National Standards which is fine with me. My goal for next term is to be at a 4A which will be above the national standard.
