Walt:write the Egyptian Contributions.
The Egyptian had 2 contributions to astronomy and it was the 24 hour division of the day, and making calendar of 365 days of a year. The Egyptian took night and divided it 12 parts and then divided day into 12 equal parts. Putting day and night together made 24 hours. The Egyptians second contributions was the constant year of 365 days. First it was 360-days a year, which the Greeks added 5 days for feasting, which the Greeks called 'Epagomenal' and that what made the 365 days.

I enjoyed reading this post because the explanation was really clear. I didn't know how to explain my post properly. Keep up the good work. What other contributions did the Egyptians do?
