Technology

Walt: write a narrative.

Technology

Every Mondays, the year 7 students go to Tamaki College for technology.

We did different subjects in technology for 10 weeks. Presently we are doing hard materials using a housing joint with wood. We do hard materials inside a workshop. When we arrive at Tamaki College, our woodwork teacher, Mr Grundy gives us our books. Inside the workshop, there are three rules. The rules are, no fiddling, stools underneath the table when you’re not sitting on it, and wear closed shoes. When we get our books, we sketch five ideas. When you’re finished you choose a sketch out of all the sketches we drew. Then we show our sketch to Mr Grundy to make sure it’s alright.

Hard materials is a fun and exciting subject. I am making a Ute with no wheels but it can fly. The part that I really liked about the woodwork, is when you get to draw the five sketches.
